post-surgery i have been spending my time rotting, sewing, and staring out the window. this is what i've so far.

the surgery went well
im grateful and euphoric
my body aches and im pretty tired
but i figured out i can use my sewing machine without straining myself<3

There were no strict guidelines to our shoot in December, we just wanted to play with clothes and cameras and lights. When the pics were sent to me I wanted to make them feel cohesive, I think the drawings really work to piece everything together. This was the first time I've tried the process of printing, drawing on, and scanning images - it was so much fun :)

In January I journaled a lot, mostly about my fears of top surgery, its only 1 week away... this entry really resonated with me and I want to manifest it into a physical object. The original entry was written in my notes app, I retyped everything and played with staggering the text. I plan on transferring this text onto a large canvas of some sort. This scan now resides in my physical journal<3
